About Us

Who are we

We are a colorful community of people from a wide variety of backgrounds who are continuing to discover the joy of living in the benefits of God' s favour and kindness.

What are we seeking

Carlow Christian Community are actively seeking to live the lifestyle that Jesus lived and taught His disciples to follow.

In practice this involves us spending time with God

  • to experience His presence and to hear His plans and purposes for us
  • to allow Him to change our attitudes and values, and to impart His healing and blessings to us.
  • to show our appreciation to Him in an attitude of thanksgiving and worship.

It also involves us becoming mature as Christians through

  • friendships which provoke and encourage us towards love and good deeds in an attitude of openness and humility.
  • discovering the unique gifts and talents He has given to us, learning how to function effectively in them and putting them to work for the benefit of all.

What is our style of church life

We meet during the week in small groups based in homes and in a larger congregation on Sunday mornings. We are seeking to follow the example of the early Christian church recorded in the Bible in Acts 2:46-47.

This shows that in addition to meeting in the temple &

  • they broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.

Like the early church, Carlow Christian Community seeks to build good healthy friendships where people find help, encouragement, prayer and support in their spiritual development. We also see the value of meeting together in a larger gathering to worship God and receive teaching from the Bible.

Where do we meet

We meet on Sunday mornings at 10:30am at the Seven Oaks hotel. Come, taste and see that God is good. Everyone is Welcome.
